Ed Slagel works for Quintus Corporation and is one of the first developers of high tech polyurethane and polyurea elastomers.

Starting back in 1959 with the Goodyear Corporation, Ed was developing high end optically clear elastomer systems for various applications including canopies for fighter planes.

Over the years, the Slagels (Ed and his son, Mike)have developed and patented many urethane and polyurea technologies including optical lenses to replace polycarbonate.
